There is a local saying that advices one to go to an astrologer who is young, for his calculations will be more accurate. In keeping with this we have as our astrologer the ‘JYOTISHA KALARATNAM’  Sri. Prithviraj Panikkar Kalarikkal as our main astrologer. After his ‘Gurukul’ studies, Sri Prithviraj has been in Mookambika for the past years, spending his time in penance, meditation and practice of his profession. His predictions have never gone wrong so far, devotees who flock to our institution everyday stand witness to this.   

Our other principal astrologers are Sri Rajan Panikkar Kalarikkal and Prof. M. K Nambiar, Meleppat (Ratna Shastra, Numerical Science Expert). Sri Prithviraj and Sri Rajan come from a family of astrologers and are traditionally so. We also have with us ‘Jyotsya Devaki’ Antharjanam who has done M. A in Astrology from Kaladi University. Inspite of the aforesaid proverb, all of us know the value of experience. The Sadguru Sri Chandrananda Swamigal himself goes through all the horoscopes and supervises the predictions made.
